Work/Life programs encourage employees to live healthy lives and maintain balance in their family and work life. Through work/life programs and policies the Department of Navy and the Marine Corps are working to create a more flexible, responsive work environment supporting the community, home, and loved ones. Dependent Care Programs
Children, Youth, and Teen Programs that focus on the needs of families in order to provide maximum access to useful, flexible, and affordable programs such as child development, social, recreational, and athletic programs.
Family Advocacy Programs
The Civilian Employee Assistance Program (CEAP) can assist with providing employees with counseling and seminars on substance (alcohol and drugs) abuse, stress and anger management, domestic violence, parenting, life balancing and financial matters.
Flexible Family Friendly Work Arrangements
Alternative Work Schedules, telework, and leave programs help to promote the efficiency of the workforce both at home and at work.
Health and Wellness Programs
Physical and mental well being are key components to a healthy life. The Department of Navy and the Marine Corps have a large network of health promotion and physical fitness facilities and programs available. Check with your command to learn more about the availability of these programs.
