OUR MISSION

We are a free, internal support team designed to help increase the effectiveness and efficiency of HQMC and local Commanders. Our job is to make your job easier.

Our Mission:

To advance the Marine Corps mission through collaborative support of organizational improvement initiatives, strategic workforce planning, and workforce development programs. 

Our Vision:

To be the pathfinder to innovative solutions through collaborative partnerships.

Organizational Development: The ARHM team supports executive decision making through group facilitation and state-of-the-art collaborative technologies. We can guide you through strategic planning, action planning, conducting climate assessments, and more.

Strategic Workforce Planning:  The ARHM team serves as advisors in Strategic Workforce Planning (SWP) initiatives, including assistance with project management, mission-workforce alignment, and analyses related to the workforce and organization.

Training & Workforce Development:   ARHM provides civilian workforce development advisory services, such as support in building organizational training plans, creating Individual Development Plans (IDP), and interpreting training policies and guidance. We also provide free on-site training classes for civilians and supervisors of civilians. Classes include soft-skills training, pre-retirement workshops, supervisor training, and the Marine Corps Acculturation Program (MCAP). 

Leadership Development, Mentoring, and Tuition AssistanceARHM administers the Marine Corps Civilian Leadership Development Program (MCCLDP) for Headquarters U.S. Marine Corps Headquarters Battalion, and Marine Barracks Washington / Marine Corps Institute. The MCCLDP consists of leadership development training and activities, mentoring, and the Academic Degree Program (ADP). ARHM also coordinates local nominations for the Marine Corps’ Centrally Managed Civilian Leadership Courses
